Welcome to my webpage! I am currently an EdD Student at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I entered the teaching field after working in corporate America, which was preceded by working at the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and 5 years in higher education administration where I served as Assistant Director of the UNLV Writing Center. 

Teaching is one of my passions, in addition to singing, and cooking.  All of my passions are also my professions. I am lucky and blessed to have been surrounded by great mentors who have guided me to where I am today - giving me the opportunity to do what I love every day.

Below are the current parts of my research that I am completing as a student.   I currently study what components of transformational leadership and social emotional learning could have a positive impact on teacher-student relationships.
